Back on the fringe front......

Since reading this article about Jenna Lyons in Vogue UK September issue, I have long been after a red desk, just like the one you can barely see amongst the papers. I also what my studio (I should really say desk), to look like this; papers, magazine pages, magazines, fashion shoots, notes, pictures everywhere. An iMac too would be lovely, but thats a long way off my budget !


I want to be creative again... I want to start work on my christmas project, it's dead easy, it's what I love, it's illustration !! I just can't start, I'm too busy, I have no time, I have been back working long full days from 7am, so when I get home all I want is my bed and food.

My Girls, I Love You too of course. I'm so glad to have a group of girlfriends like us, I couldn't ask for more.

I have just spent the evening watching My Girl with my girls, and we got little watery eyes, well some of us did anyway. After though, I just HAD to tell my best friend, that he is my best friend and I love him.

 

Fringe !!

Last night, whilst distracting myself from the last 500 words of this essay, I decided I want a fringe again !! Usually I would wake up thinking nahhh, bad idea. But surprisingly I STILL WANT IT !!! And isn't Lucy Roses' just lovely ....

Future

I have just kind of planned my next few years..... this would be ideal I think...

easter 2012 - New York
summer 2012 - internships and olympics
winter 2012 - degree year
summer 2013 - travel around Europe
winter 2013 - potentially a masters ??
summer 2014 - Australia please  (and stay there til I fall in love!)


so thats the plan so far aha, that brings me to 23. Maybe I should think about settling and getting a job in London then, sounds about right !!

UPDATES : its a been a while....

.... ok first thing; I have caught the twitter bug!! I thought it was about time I leapt on the bandwagon, and so I signed up this evening. @RachDavies24 if your interested. I'm still not 100% sure of what Twitter is, but I'm sure I will work it out. I basically only got it to stalk celebs and, yeah well thats pretty much the only reason if I'm honest.

... secondly, I am trying to write an essay that just isn't going to plan, and so, am procrastinating in any way shape or form; example 1 - twitter.

... oh and did I mention, I am going to be working at the 2012 Olympics. Yes, ME !!! Gamesmaker right here !! And I could not be more excited about that. Also the fact that it's for the Gymnastics team, and I was 'requested' makes it that much more exciting. ALALALALA literally just thinking about, I have the cheesiest of grins on my face !!

... mmm anymore life updates; none of importance that I can think of right now... other than that I am desperate to go to Australia for a long hot summer. Waking up to the view of the beach is what I want right now !! Please and Thank You xx

On repeat...

I know I have said many occasions that I would just love a Nikon of my own, but now I need one too. Now I have a reason for such an extravagant purchase. I am going to New York baby !! And I couldn't be happier about that. I am going with my lovely girls Talia & Emma, but also Ali, she is heading back from her placement in France to join us, and reform E-RAT just for the week.

So that is my reasoning. If New York isn't a good enough reason, I don't know what is ???

Oh and we're staying in the middle of Manhattan !!

A late night post after reading ELLE ...

I sometimes have the most overwhelming urge to write! Particularly after reading the editors letters in the likes of ELLE and VOGUE. For some reason the words seem to relate or inspire. I don’t know what I want to write nor say, I have nothing of importance to put down, I just want to type, maybe feel like if I wanted to, I could write something amazing and poetic maybe. Well who knows. Just a thought. 

I want to buy this poster from somewhere, I missed WAKEY!WAKEY! at Rescue Rooms, Nottingham this week, and am gutted. But this poster would nearly make up for it! 

I am soo in love with Samuel Larsen right about now....
