Kate Hudson in THAT yellow dress...

Having just watched and repeated word for word, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days for the millionth time, I am still in Love with THAT yellow dress. It's amazing ... and inspiring ... 

 

 

Shopping list....

... not that I'm greedy or anything, but with what I earn this summer, I should be able to pay back my overdraft and replace the money I 'borrowed' from my savings account. But I'm still a girl who likes to shop, so I figured I can still treat myself !!

- A fancy SLR Nikon please (probably, realistically isn't going to happen, but I can dream)
- A pair of lovely denim shorts, I know exactly how I want them to look, so it's just a matter of when I find the perfect pair
- A new scrapbook, for all my notes, post-its and messages from last year
- A pair of white denim skinnies, just like my denim and grey ones would be perfect
- A design tablet, so I can live doodle

JOURNAL TIME

E-RAT - you met us here first....

Am totally going to do this, when I can be bothered and have the time ....

To follow on from July 3rd....

I want to be inspired, I want to find my style, actually I know the style of work I love and want, but I'm very unorganised and my work never seems to look how I imagine it to in my head. I think I rush too much, maybe I should slow down and force myself to focus for a change and get it looking as it does in my head.....

Either that or give up completely, and go for a random approach to begin with, and just see how things turn out.... mmmm.

But with a style or not, I do want to take up photography, I am going to get myself a really flashy camera, and start snapping away. I have enough photos of the all the nights out from my first year and all the socialising, now I want to 'knuckle down' you could say, and take some artistic photographs. 

My design journal needs to get back on track too. Didn't really stick with that one last year, but then I didn't have a whole lot of free time either. Am going to work on some hand-drawn typography too... I'll start that right now, whilst watching a bit of glee !! 

MUST SAVE FOR A DESIGN TABLET TOO !
